Use a 12mm socket to remove the factory screw.

Reinstall the original screw and align the brackets as shown.

Secure the screw tightly.

Assemble the support bracket and secure it to the truck as pictured.

Insert the screw into the bracket hole and gently pull for a tight fit.

Use a 12mm wrench to firmly fasten the screw.

Attach the lift support: thick end connects to the bracket.

Insert the thin end into the fixed cabin mount.
